It is our belief that easy access to objectionable
materials found on the Internet can be deleterious to the mental and spiritual growth of

that are eliminated (filtered) from the Internet.
Pornography: Web sites that contain dating
services, escort services, erotic materials, nudity, sex & sexual acts are filtered.

Adult Content: "Adult Content" labeled sites or
content.
Tasteless Content: This relates to materials that have no

Objectionable Language: Includes cussing, crude words, gestures and references to
sexual body parts.

Without the consent of the Safer Internet account owner, these sites are filtered out.
Message & Chat sites: Unmediated websites that cater to public message or chat
boards are filtered. The lack of editorial control over the content makes these sites
sources of inflammatory, perverted and dangerous materials.
Violence: Illegal acts or depiction of illegal acts,
including bodily harm to another person and to personal or public property.
Hate & Discrimination Sites: Any sites fostering the slander of religion, gender,
nationality, sexual orientation, Satanic worship or any ritual sacrifice will be filtered.
Criminal Activities: Any activities that encourage criminal acts such as bomb
making, computer and web hacking, lock picking and illegal listening devices to name a
few.
Use of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Illegal Drugs: Content relating to the use of
these topics are removed. Exceptions would be materials on these topics that are of
genuine educational or counseling value.
